M.O.O.N., a secure way to capture your property listing

Category Technology

Whether buying or selling property, you provide a lot of sensitive information to real estate companies. Tech-forward Century 21 South Africa takes pride in ensuring your data is protected. Their property practitioners use My Online Organisational Notebook or the M.O.O.N. platform to ensure property listings are captured quickly and data is managed securely.

Adriano de Moura, Century 21 South Africa's National Technology Manager, identifies and introduces technology infrastructure and solutions to propel the company forward. He shares how M.O.O.N. is helping them better assist clients while empowering their property professionals.

What is the M.O.O.N. platform?

According to de Moura, M.O.O.N. allows Century 21 South Africa's franchisees, their property practitioners, and administrators to capture property listings and publish these listings from their system to various portals via their feed provider. The system collects leads and provides a secure environment to manage the sales process, from listing to registration, for each property.

Why was M.O.O.N. introduced?

Century 21 South Africa is developing M.O.O.N. with the vision of creating a secure space for all the business needs of their franchises and their property practitioners. The platform empowers the business to create a platform in keeping with company needs and industry trends.

"One of the major benefits is that Century 21 South Africa can create a platform that provides for the needs of the company's culture, vision, and growth strategy," says de Moura. "By developing this in-house platform, we can shape it according to industry trends by adding suitable emerging technologies thereby increasing Century 21 South Africa's operational advantage in the marketplace."

How M.O.O.N. works

De Moura says M.O.O.N. offers property practitioners a wealth of information to help them achieve their goals.

"Each franchise has an overview of their business where they can process financial reports, see the businesses sales, agent performance as well as store and manage their property practitioner's details, qualifications, supporting documents, and social media links.

"Every property practitioner has their own dashboard where they can monitor their progress for the financial year and see their ranking on our internal performance awards points ranking list.

"While this system is new, we are helping our property practitioners embrace change. We're offering extensive training and support as well as constant development to improve the system with new features."

Upcoming M.O.O.N. developments

M.O.O.N.'s impact is already being felt across Century 21 South Africa and its clients. According to de Moura, phase one of the platform's development plan is complete and phase two has started. With every franchise now onboarded on M.O.O.N., they are currently enhancing the system features through strategic partnerships and adding business tools that are currently not available in other systems of a similar nature to M.O.O.N.

Future of tech at Century 21 South Africa

Innovation, as seen with M.O.O.N., is at the heart of Century 21 South Africa's core values. De Moura says the company will continue making data security a priority.

"Improving communication and efficiency while increasing the capacity of our business are key focus areas. In our industry, one of the most important factors is data security. By developing software within Century 21 South Africa, we can stop relying on third-party software vendors that would traditionally store and process sensitive business information."

Century 21 South Africa is always looking to take steps to make their experience SMARTER. BOLDER. FASTER.™ for their clients. M.O.O.N. will ensure they keep your data secure while also helping their property practitioners work more effectively.
