Fourways at a glance

Fourways is one of Johannesburg's fastest growing suburban and commercial areas and for good reason. Essentially the area is made up of eight different suburbs and three well-known estates. A brief history of the area

The history of this built up commercial and residential area was established for a different purpose to what it has become today. When it was first planned out it was nothing more than a game farm and residence owned by the Erickson family of Johannesburg at the time.

By the 1970’s this highly regarded manor house was sold off to the local council of the time. The area was soon named Norscot.
