Crime statistics for the Midrand, Ivory Park, and Rabie Ridge areas during the 2019/2020 year had some positive feedback. Burglaries at residential premises saw a decrease across all police stations. Midrand reported a 4.6% decline, Ivory Park reported a 9.7% drop, and Rabie Ridge had an 8.9% decrease. Robberies at residential premises also declined in these areas. In Ivory Park, the reduction was as high as 66%.
