Milnerton Golf Club's history
Milnerton Golf Club began as a humble six-hole course in 1913. At the start of the First World War, it was closed, later reopening in 1925. In 1995, the club's course underwent a major upgrade with the development of the Milnerton Links housing estate. Mark Miller from Golf Data rebuilt some of the existing holes while retaining the popular ones. Now an 18-hole championship golf course, the club's new layout and features have made it a smashing success.
Over the years, Milnerton Golf Club has been recognised for its stellar golf experience. In 2013, Worldgolf.com awarded the course five stars for design, condition, service, and facilities. 2021 saw Milnerton Golf Club rank in the top 100 golf courses in the country.
Milnerton Golf Club course
Located less than 15 minutes from Milnerton's CBD, Milnerton Golf Club offers an 18-hole links-style course. Teeing off is an absolute delight with the natural beauty surrounding you. The course is set between the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Diep River on the other side. The course meanders along Table Bay and the Milnerton Lagoon, offering stunning views of the city and Table Mountain.
