Century 21 Bloemfontein Opening Soon

Category Newsletter: Lead Article

The Bloemfontein office is our first in the Free State province and this will definitely be the stepping stone for the brand to expand in towns like Welkom, Kimberley, Bethlehem, Clarens and Harrismith. The franchise has been acquired by well- known and successful local businessmen who have local knowledge and the passion and drive to make the brand a market leader here and they have purchased their own and very prominent sales offices in General Hertzog Street in Dan Pienaar.

The launch date here is set for the 1st October 2016. Famously known as the "City of Roses", Bloemfontein is placed with more pivotal importance than any other city in the country. It is the Judicial Capital, the sixth largest city in South Africa and lies on the main road, rail and air links between north and south, east and west. Bloemfontein is part of the Mangaung Local Municipality - “place where the Cheetahs dwell”. Bloemfontein is the economic hub of Mangaung and also the commercial capital of the Free State. The atmosphere that one feels in Bloemfontein is one based on an appreciation of family values, where quality of life is of prime importance. Business and family interests are combined, in a hand-in-glove way, with no reason for discord; cultures are intermingled, again with peaceable accord. There is little stress and less haste; the peaceful atmosphere, which is somehow almost tangible, can be felt in every street, on every pavement - all of which are noticeably clean and free of litter. Education facilities are also at the heart of Bloemfontein and no more than its university. Lastly with the cost of living among the most competitive in the country, it is a great area to live, work and play.

At the same time, Century 21 South Africa is moving to larger premises within their existing office block to accommodate its impressive expansion in the South Africa property sales industry.

Harry Nicolaides, the CEO says,” with close to 50 offices now and with the opening of our Bloemfontein, Hartebeespoort and Malelane, office all within a 3 month period, we have simply run out of space to house our head office support staff. Our new premises will include a “creative hub” where our marketing department and designers will have the freedom and space to provide “cutting edge” marketing support for our agents and franchisees and most importantly, our National Training Academy will be expanding to accommodate more sitting delegates and a specialised sound proof media centre for our on-line training and “live” on-line meetings and presentations.

South Africa is regarded as one of the most critical countries for the brand’s USA holding company and as such, we have the support and backing to ensure growth for many years to come. With an impressive growth of over 36% in total group sales last year and with still many lucrative franchise territories still available all over South Africa to interested parties, Century 21 will grow its national footprint however, we will grow in a relevant and tempered manner because for us, it’s not all about numbers but rather about assisting principals to create businesses that are relevant, solid and  secure for the future of themselves and their families. As such we decline many more applicants than award actual franchises all because we ensure at all times that the applicant has the passion, the dedication, the profile and the resources to ensure their success – our goal is to ensure their long term success prospects rather than growing our numbers at all costs”

As the leading multinational real estate organisation in the world today, Century 21 provides all-encompassing training, management, administrative and marketing support for the entire Century 21 organisation. Currently the organisation is comprised of approximately 7000 independently owned and operated franchised offices and over 105,000 sales associates in approximately 80 countries and territories worldwide.
