This well-established 24.15 ha smallholding, situated only 15 km from Zeerust, between Zeerust and Groot Marico with convenient access to the N4, offers an ideal opportunity for a beginner farmer, small-scale farming operation or retired person seeking a peaceful rural lifestyle.
The property has two equipped boreholes with submersible pumps. One borehole is approximately 140 m deep and produces around 6,500 litres per hour, while the second is approximately 132 m deep with a lower water yield. Water storage consists of 2 x 5,000-litre and 2 x 2,500-litre tanks.
A servitude road divides the property into approximately 6 ha and 18 ha. The 18 ha portion is divided into two camps with water troughs and is secured with approximately 2.2 m high electric fencing, while the 6 ha portion is cattle fenced. Approximately 5 ha was cultivated many years ago.
The attractive stone-built family home offers 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite), kitchen, lounge, dining room, laundry and front and back patios. The house is enclosed by 1.8 m electric fencing. Additional improvements include a 3-vehicle carport, shade-net parking, storeroom, chicken coop and a 2 m x 2.5 m cold room.
The property is sold as a going concern, including approximately 30 Meatmaster sheep, 7 chickens, 5 impala, garden tools and 50% of the furniture in the house.
A property offering water, livestock facilities, fencing, a comfortable home and an established small-scale farming setup, all within easy reach of Zeerust and the N4.
Please note: A family graveyard is situated on the property.
