Now Century 21 Menlyn (Pretoria) is Awarded - No Stopping the Growth of Century 21

Following the awarding of the important Sandton & Surrounds area to our prestigious partner, Richter Properties, another critical area has been awarded for the Menlyn area of Pretoria to our  franchisee, Lizel de Lange.

Lizel de Lange, an attorney by profession, has always wanted to get into the property sales industry and she has timed her entry into the industry to perfection. We agree with her belief that the best time to get into the industry would be right now. It is a fact and a common business belief amongst business analysts that the best time to get involved in any industry is not when its cycle is on the “top end”, but rather when it turns from the “bottom end” and is on its way up. We also agree with Lizel on her decision to ensure that her real estate business is relevantly branded.
 
The main point about Century 21 is that “when all is said and done” and “when business sense prevails”, there must be a reason for our global dominance and why Century 21 South Africa is arguably the only brand that has the stature, positioning and relevance to grow in South Africa today. This stunning brand has been adapted to suit South African conditions and mindsets, is run by local people with local knowledge and does not presume to “be the best” – that statement is left for our existing franchisees to answer directly to you.
 
Our aesthetics, systems and tools have evolved over the last 40 years and with the input of unmatched intellectual capital from our 121 000 sales agents around the globe, it is not surprising therefore that, for example, Century 21 France has close to 900 franchisees, Century 21 Australia over 350, Century 21 China over 1 400, Century 21 USA over 3000 etc. locally, Century 21 South Africa is critical and a priority for Century 21 Global and it enjoys much support.
 
 It is simple to understand that moving forward, all estate agents, whether experienced or not, will gravitate towards branded companies. You just need to ask yourself a simple question, “If I was thinking about going into the real estate business and become an estate agent, which company would I join?”. The career as an agent is now more controlled with more legal and service expectation expected from estate agents. This comes at a cost to the agent as well and not only to the principal. Therefore, agents will be looking at where to “invest” their time and effort and cost more carefully than just joining the company “down the road”. That is why it is important for all independent real estate companies to brand themselves and for existing branded companies to ensure their brand has relevance.
 
Lizel has understood this and with her experience as an attorney and now her association with Century 21, she is equipped to offer world class service to buyers and sellers in her area. The Menlyn area which includes suburbs south of Attebury Road and east of the R24 Freeway will complement our existing partners, Nico and Bennie, who own and operate the Lynwood/Silverlakes Century 21 office. Critical suburbs in her area include Garsfontein, Moreleta Park, Menlo Park and Woodhill Estates. The Menlyn Shopping Centre is a landmark in her territory.
