Most of the East Rand Now Fully Branded

With the awarding of Century 21 franchises in Kempton Park and Brakpan, the brand now enjoys a substantial and relevant footprint on the East Rand. These two new franchises, together with the existing Boksburg franchise are now owned and operated by Emil Grobbelaar, our existing Century 21 Benoni franchisee.
After extensive negotiations to get the roll-out plan spot on and the timing right, we have reached agreement with Emile to create this mega franchise. From 1st March 2012, Emile’s mega franchise will trade as Century 21 East Rand and offer property services to clients in Kempton Park, Benoni, Boksburg and Brakpan. Emile's mega franchise is complimented with the Century 21 Springs franchise headed by Brenda Jacobs. This completes our footprint for the traditional East Rand. Looking forward, we would like to invite interested parties for peripheral areas of Heidelberg and Nigel.
Emile will eventually establish physical offices in each territory to bring the Century 21 experience closer to each community.
The East rand is not the old mining community that it once was. With two major casinos indicating good GDP’s, the correct demographics and population count, the East Rand has become a popular area to reside and to invest in. Other features include the OR Tambo International Airport, top schools including private schools, major retail and industrial nodes like the East Rand Mall precinct and Isando, excellent medical care facilities and it caters for clients in all the income spectrums. Affordable housing is in abundance as well as medium to upmarket areas. There are a number of upmarket residential golf courses and gated communities as well as a major element of country living.
With easy access to freeways connecting important commercial areas like Sandton, Pretoria and Bedfordview, the East Rand has become a great area to live in even though residence may work elsewhere.
